Google's first Gemini 4 model, announced 30 September 2026 for partners in its Fairwind cyber-defence programme and opened to paid Gemini API developers and Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers on 13 October 2026. Not available on the free API tier. The $2 input / $10 output per million tokens price is introductory and runs until 30 November 2026; from 1 December 2026 it doubles to $4 / $20. Thinking tokens are billed as output; cached input is $0.10 (then $0.20). Google describes it as built for long generation of up to 1M tokens. Prices checked 29 October 2026.
