My site ranks in Google. Why would AI be blocked?

Google and AI crawlers read sites differently. A robots.txt rule from years ago can turn OAI-SearchBot and Claude-SearchBot away while Googlebot walks in, and text that loads through JavaScript reaches Google but not most AI crawlers. You cannot see either by opening your own site. The check can.
