No orders were placed or paid for.
This is an independent research project run by an individual, Sergei Ponomarev, under the AI Business name. It was not commissioned or funded by any brand. It describes what an AI agent saw on the public websites of five US e-bike brands on 14 October 2026 while carrying out one shopping task under the researcher's supervision. No orders were placed, nothing was paid, no personal data was entered and no return was made; return deductions are calculated from the published terms, and the summary of those terms is not a conclusion about their lawfulness or how they apply to any particular case. It is not a ranking of brands, not a comparison of bikes and not a recommendation to buy or not to buy. The report includes the task, the results by brand, why the prices differ, the return terms after a test ride, what works well and what could be strengthened, the method and its limits, and a card for each brand.
