Governance as executive control, not administrative reporting

Governance, Transformation & Business Improvement Consultant, Independent

About

I create value for leadership by turning execution reality, accountability, delivery risk and financial integrity into clearer, more defensible executive decisions.

My work focuses on one critical problem: ensuring that major decisions are based on verified reality, clear ownership and disciplined execution, not reporting confidence.

Over 18 years I have worked in complex, multi-stakeholder environments where reported performance, accountability, delivery risk and financial exposure must be tested against evidence before material decisions move forward. I operate where governance, transformation, operating model design, delivery assurance, portfolio control and financial integrity intersect.

My experience includes governance and delivery responsibility across portfolios exceeding SAR 300M, 300+ operational sites and 23 contractors, and preventing more than SAR 37M in unsupported financial exposure from progressing to payment through evidence-based technical, commercial and approval controls.

My strength is governance as executive control rather than administrative reporting: identifying where reality diverges from reporting, challenging unsupported assumptions, clarifying accountability, protecting decision quality and strengthening disciplined execution.

I increasingly apply this work to AI-enabled operating environments, where decision quality depends on clear accountability, reliable evidence, human oversight, authority boundaries and traceable escalation. My focus is not AI as a standalone technology layer, but the institutional conditions required for AI-supported decisions to remain governable and accountable.

I work with organisations facing complex operating and transformation environments where governance must strengthen decision quality, accountability, execution and financial integrity.
